Fashion | The Philip Sparks Spring 2013 accessories collection bursts with colour

First there was a women’s line, then there was a store and now Torontos’s sweetheart with a thing for vintage, Mr. Philip Sparks, has expanded his eponymous label to include women’s footwear.

“We’ve always had a few accessory pieces in the main collection and have worked on some successful footwear and bag collaborations,” said Sparks. “We wanted to expand that selection to offer customers more choice while building up segments of our brand that we think have great potential.”

The newly expanded men’s and women’s accessories collection includes belts, shoes, and fully customizable bags done up in canvas and vegetable tanned leather in cherry red, bright yellow, sky blue and some neutral tans, navys and greys. Sparks created mid-heel sandals and woven flats for women and brogues and deck shoes for men. Bag styles include totes, an accordion briefcase, a full-sized travel bag and laptop and tablet cases in the aforementioned canvas and a rainbow of leather options. The handbags are all customizable and customers can mix and match leather accents.
