J’adore | Maison Martin Margiela with H&M collection wish list

Posts includes updated information

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is soon upon us. The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection is set to hit H&M shelves nationwide on November 15 and it’s time to make those lists, check them twice and come up with a game plan to make sure all the items you covet end up in your shopping bag.

“The collaboration between H&M and Maison Martin Margiela presents a re-edition of iconic Maison Martin Margiela garments and accessories for men and women. Each piece is specifically labeled with a unique tag indicating the season from which it originated, spanning 23 years since the Maison’s founding. The most representative pieces of Maison Martin Margiela’s archive are reproduced in updated shapes and materials and offered to the broad public as an exclusive synopsis of their history.”

The collection is full of re-imaginings of classic pieces (think off-kilter dresses and every day objects as accessories) with a healthy dose of tromp l’oeil designs. H&M is all about democratic fashion and I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of these pieces.
