J’adore | Flare x Aldo oxblood shooties

It seems magazine editors are the latest personalities to add their name to the ever-growing list of fashion designers. Flare fashion director Liz Cabral has added shoe and accessories designer to her resume with the reprisal of her role as collaborator with Aldo for the Flare x Aldo collection. The Montreal-based shoe and accessories brand is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year and called on Cabral to up the ante and design a three-piece limited edition capsule collection made up of handbag, daytime shoe and evening shoe.

I fell head over heels for the daytime shoe―a stacked heel oxblood and tomato red buckled shootie ($155).

Cabral’s first shoe for Aldo, a snakeskin strappy heeled sandal with neon accents, was a major hit and these shooties are sure to appear on many a fashion bloggers’ foot (mine included).

The collection, which does not yet have a release date, also includes a black lace peep-toe bootie and a colour blocked flap front handbag (available in two hues―red and blue).
