J’adore | The Anna Dello Russo at H&M collection

Post includes updated information.

There ain’t no half steppin’ when it comes to the fashion whirlwind that is Anna Dello Russo. The energetic editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan is known to rock head-to-toe looks straight off the runway and has a wardrobe that rivals the shoe collection of Imelda Marcos. AdR brought this exuberance and joie de vivre to her Anna Dello Russo at H&M collection for the fast fashion retailer.

The collection remains true to Anna’s more-is-more, over the top aesthetic and features baroque-inspired jewellery, sunglasses, footwear, clutches and luggage. “My message is: use accessories like a personal touch, as an amusing way to revitalize your life and wardrobe,” says Anna. “You will turn an ordinary day into a sensational fashion week day.”

I love the gaudy, borderline tacky high-shine feel of the collection and cannot wait for it to hit stores.

One of my favourite parts of the Anna Dello Russo at H&M campaign is the very cool “Fashion Shower” music video. #FashionShower is my new favourite hashtag and the song will carry me through the marathon that is Toronto Fashion Week.

Check the slideshow below for more from the Anna Dello Russo at H&M collection, which will be available in H&M stores and online at 8AM on Thursday, October 4.
