J’adore | Rachel Sin trench-style dress

We have many diamonds in the rough in the Canadian fashion scene and designer Rachel Sin is one of them. For her eponymous label the architect by day and fashion designer by night designs clothes that are lessons in juxtaposition and contrast, strong yet feminine and functional ready-to-wear.

One such example of Sin’s design aesthetic is the Betsy dress ($310, at RachelSin.com), a trench style dress that is both classic, modern and strong.

I love the way the faux leather sleeves gives this über-classic look and wonderfully modern yet edgy twist.
