Event | An Evening of Luxury, diamonds and lingerie courtesy of !Xam Diamonds and Premier Jour

Last week, I enjoyed an Evening of Luxury as !Xam Diamonds unveiled its latest collection with a private showing at the new Financial District gallery, showroom and workshop.

Models wearing the brands creations and lingerie from Premier Jour Fine Lingerie and Swimwear mingled with guests in the modern industrial Johnson Chou-designed space. Notable guests included Anne Mroczkowski and comedian Carla Collins.

!xam Diamonds is a South-African jewellery company with a conscience. The company is both socially and environmentally aware and its diamonds are “ethical, green and mined in cooperation with indigenous communities” throughout southern Africa, Russia, Canada and Botswana. “There are no secrets; our process is as transparent as our beautiful stones,” the website proclaims.

While at the preview I fell in love a million times with the gorgeously unique pieces, both jewellery and lingerie. Luxury friendship bracelets dripping with diamonds, pieces using raw diamonds, rings that sported both white and black alluvial diamonds and a silk collarless Kimono-sleeved robe from Canadian lingerie label DIA (that I would totally wear as a dress) are all on my Christmas wish list.
