Fashion News | H&M has announced its next designer collaboration: Marni!

While many names were tossed into the ring (I hoped and prayed for Givenchy while friends suggested Raf Simons and Prada) the latest fast fashion designer collaboration has been announced: Marni at H&M!

The Italian brand led by creative director Consuelo Castiglioni is known throughout the fashion world for its ‘original prints and inventive spirit’.

“I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints,” said Castiglioni. “As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements.”

The Spring collection will feature clothing and accessories for both men and women and will hit H&M stores on March 8, 2012. Women can expect vivid colours, bold prints and fabrics such as jacquard knits, silk and cotton poplin while the men’s collection will feature a relaxed take on staple Marni menswear staples like subtle prints and modern silhouettes.
