One major thing that I’ve noticed about LG Fashion Week is that after a while time ceases to exist. Days, hours and minutes begin to blend into one another and the outside world (re: the non-Heritage Court world) becomes a distant memory. For me LGFW life consists of rushing. Rushing from home to the CNE grounds, rushing from shows to the backstage area to the media lounge, and back home again to put the finishing touches on runway reviews. Wash, rinse, repeat.
The third day of LGFW included Duy, Krane and Lovas shows. I regretfully had to miss the Micalla, Attitude by Jay Manuel and David Dixon shows because work and deadlines are not to be ignored though I did spot celebrity stylist June Ambrose in all of her colour blocking glory backstage.
I opted for an all-black outfit and added interest with a sleeveless trench (I cut the sleeves off of an ill-fitting trench coat to give it a new life). After the madness that was the Pink Tartan lineup I decided to give my feet a rest and wore a pair studded flats.
