Calvin Klein Collection has revealed its first television ad and it is a sleek, minimalist TV short that absolutely screams Calvin Klein. The ad was directed by French art director and Interview editorial director Fabien Baron and features an impeccably clad Lara Stone and Tyson Ballou.
This commercial is a pleasant departure from the Calvin Klein TV and print ads that we have gotten used to. Instead of an overtly sexy ad campaign featuring oiled up men and women we get a mature, artistic depiction of the mutual sexual attraction between a man and a woman. I am thankful that Baron chose to focuse on the interaction between the two models rather than making Stone’s breasts the star of the short.
