Quick Hits: Fall 2011 Haute Couture Review – Zuhair Murad

While many may argue whether that couture shows are dying (I’m looking at you Cathy Horyn) Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2011 haute couture collection proves that the art of couture is still very much alive.

Zuhair sent look after look of covetable confections down the runway from mullet dresses with flowing trains (party in the front, Met Gala in the back) to off-shoulder gowns, each look more detailed and gorgeous than the last.

With this collection Zuhair gave us all a lesson in shape, volume and textures.
