Squaring the Square By Lisa Shahno

I stumbled upon the Squaring the Square collection by Lisa Shahno and I was drawn in by the complexity and simplicity of her designs.  Her collection “is based on a similar division principle – as in the title problem. The whole collection is based on rectangular pieces of various length and width ranging from rectangles to squares sewn together and bonded in different order” resulting in geometric-inspired architectural pieces.

I really enjoy the pairing of the complex construction with a very simple colour palette.  To see more click here.

What do you think of Lisa Shahno’s designs?
