Ashley Olsen, Isaac Mizrahi and Washiongton Post fashion critic Robin Givhan spoke last night at the 92nd Street Y talk “The Future of Fashion,” which was moderated by Glamour editor-in-chief Cindi Leive.
They discussed such topics as the effect of Michelle Obama on the fashion industry, celebrity clothing lines and diversity on the runways.
During the discussion Isaac Mizrahi said, “After a while a girl who borrows dresses all the time just can’t have style.”
What do you think about his comment? Do you think that celebrities who employ clothing, hair and makeup stylists and have access to a bottomless pit of clothes, accessories, and makeup can still possess style?
