Seen On The Scene: Katy Perry, Diane Kruger, Claire Dane, Rose Byrne And Rihanna

Katy Perry was seen shopping the streets of New York wearing a bleached and zippered jumpsuit with sunglasses with white trim and what look like CC SKYE single wrap leather screw bracelets.

As we’ve all seen Katy Perry’s ensembles can be quite kooky but I think she looks great.  I love the jumpsuit, the longer hair and the glasses.

Model/actress Diane Kruger attended the Berlin premiere of the movie Inglourious Basterds and she wore … with a boxy clutch and diamond bracelet.

The look is alright.  She looks like she tried to channel the Forties with the waves and deep red lipstick but ended up looking kind of like a schoolgirl.  I think the hair and makeup really sabotaged this dress because it is a very nice garment and the clutch and necklace are nice as well.

Clair Danes attended the Cinema Society & Brooks Brothers screening of Adam in New York City and she wore a simple white belted dress with a gold box clutch.

I think Claire looks just like her dress…simple and plain.  Some accessories, a haircut and style, some kind of effort would have really helped this look.  The clutch is cute though.

Actress Rose Byrne was also at the screening of Adam and she wore a printed high-necked dress with a strong shoulder, a boxy clutch (noticing a trend here?) and black patent platform pumps (possibly Yves Saint Laurent).

I like this look.  While some might find the neck- and hemline a little prim and proper but I think her accessory choices (platform pumps, clutch, hair) help keep it from matronly territory.

Rihanna was seen exiting a building in NYC wearing a grey draped dress with some embellished heels (are those bells on her toes?).

I don’t mean to post so many pictures of Rihanna but she works over time to secure her title as style icon.  She looks great in this outfit and I love the interlocking snake bracelet and the heels.  J’adore…

What do you think?  Which outfits do you love and which ones not-so-much?
