Beats, Breaks and Vogue

If you’re in Toronto and looking for something to do today why not stop by the Beats, Breaks and Culture Festival at the Harbourfront Centre and check out Beats, Breaks and Vogue.

Beats, Breaks and Vogue

A group of Voguers has taken over the runway and turned it into their stage! Instead of boring and drab models simply walking and giving half dead fish poses at the end of the runway, we have females and males in couture inspired outfits, taking inspiration from the top designers in the biz. We’re talking Dior, YSL, Armani, Versace and Karl L to name a few.

True to form they take these looks and make them and the show their own. “Selling” the garment as only they can and creating a ball–type feel as though competing for: best runway walk, facial performance, best use of garment etc.

It’s high fashion, it’s urban, it’s their introduction: Fashion Meets Vogue!

The fashion show/competition takes place at The Harbourfront Centre at 235 Queens Quay West at 9pm today and it’s FREE!

What more incentive do you need?
