Seen On The Scene: Iman And Ashanti

Last night Iman attended the launch party for Sam Fine’s The Basiscs of Beauty DVD New York City and wore this black sequined jumpsuit with black pumps.

I’ve gotten used to seeing Mrs. Bowie in gowns so it takes some getting used to seeing her in anything else.  That being said I like this jmpsuit on her.  It’s youthful yet glitzy and she wears it well.

Singer Ashanti attended The Wiz Encores Summer Stars Series Opening Party at K Lounge in NYC on Thursday in this sheer one-shoulder dress.

Ashanti’s fashion choices are usually misses for me but I think she looks great in this dress.  Black is always chic and she is very on trend with the sheer AND one shoulder.  The accessories (shoes, bracelet, earrings) could be better and the side bun isn’t the greatest hair choice but the dress makes up for all of that.

    Hi there:
Fergie at the MMVA 2009 wore this very cool, strappy top while singing Boom Boom Pow – any ideas who the designer is?

I believe that the shirt that Fergie was wearing for her performance with the rest of the Black Eyed Peas (which you can see here was custom made by a costume stylist for the performance. Many of celebrities performance outfits are one-off’s made by costume designers.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
