Summer Trend: Wood, Gold and Beads

I don’t know what it is about them but I LOVE ACCESSORIES.  It could be the way that they transform an outfit or my love of the dramatic but I have more necklaces, bracelets, earrings and belts then I can keep track of.

And in my accessories shopping – because every trip to the mall is a chance to pick up something “small” – I’ve noticed a lot of beaded and wood and gold accessories.

This could have something to do with the mixed media, mash-up of accessories that appeared on the Marc Jacobs runway (can we say ‘Spicy’ heel?) or with the more organic, tribal, earthly homage to a simpler time seen in the clothes coming down the catwalks of Alexander McQueen, Hermes and Etro.
