My Next DIY: Half Ripped Leggings

While I was checking out the Alexander Wang pre-Fall collection at ShopBop I saw these leggings.

 David Lerner

They are half ripped leggings from a designer named David Lerner and they are $99 at ShopBop.  After laying my eyes on these beauties my next DIY was born so today I am going to go shopping for a pair of inexpensive leggings (or two) and I’m going to try to make myself a pair of half ripped leggings (though I’m only going to cut them at the top and not at the bottom).

Update: I’ve just realized that this is my ONE HUNDREDTH post!  Yay!

    Hey seppie,

I was checking out your blog haven’t been able to post but been looking. Love what your doing, getting all grown and professional on a sista. I love the ripped leggings. I think that ripped in the right places gives the boring leggings a rock vibe, but unfortunatley for people who are not as creative they might cut it in the wrong places on their own and it can easily go from stylish to looking like something at a reggae dance. If u do it yourself and it’s a master piece then I will enlist you as my personal ripped leggin stylist!
