Thrifting in Kensington and Beyond

I went on a little thrift store shopping trip to Kensington yesterday (I forgot my camera so no Kensington pics, sorry) to buy a spring jacket (which I desperately need as the weather gets warmer), a belt to wear with a navy blue strapless dress that I recently bought and a pair of boyfriend jeans (if I can find a pair).

 Forever 21

To make a long story short I didn’t end up getting what I went there for but I got a whole lot of other stuff including the three purses below.

$5 off at Flash Back in Kensington

I saw two purses like this at the clothing show and passed on them.  Third times the charm I suppose.

The back (or is it the front?) of the purse

Damage: 3 purses, 1 belt (only $3), 1 pair of gladiator sandals, 1 tube top (which tailor is turning into a skirt), 1 men’s vest (which tailor is going to make more form-fitting).  Pictures of the skirt and vest to come.

Today: a jacket, a belt and some DIY supplies.
