Fashion grand maven, “geriatric starlet” (her words, not mine) and nonagenarian Iris Apfel will be the subject of a documentary.

The documentary is being filmed by Albert Maysles, the man behind “The Beales of Grey Garden” but no word yet on a release date.
It should come as no surprise to J’adore… readers that I’m excited about Apfel’s upcoming documentary as I’ve blogged about her many times (here and here) and mentioned her in many more posts. I can’t wait to get a peek inside the life and history of the inimitable Iris Apfel.
