Though Prada introduced the turban in Spring 2007 (and starlets such as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen immediately wore them with élan) the trend didn’t take off until recently. The regal head wrap has experienced a modern-day resurgence and reinvention thanks to style arbiter June Ambrose.

If you’re like me you’ve fumbled unsuccessfully trying to recreate this season’s headwear trend. Well, thanks to Ms. Ambrose the stylish topper is within reach via a handy tutorial in the May 2011 issue of Essence Magazine.
