Fashion | Prada Spring 2011 campaign

The Spring 2011 ad campaigns have been pretty unimpressive (Balenciaga, anyone?) but leave it to Prada’s “minimal baroque” spring 2011 collection to create a campaign that puts people in the mood to buy.

The Steven Meisel shot ads feature Zuzanna Bijoch, Mariacarla Boscono, Tati Cotliar, Arizona Muse and Kinga Rajzak in the colourful stripes, bold colours, cheeky prints, pop art furs and vintage-looking shades of Prada’s spring collection.

And leave it to Miuccia Prada to make Josephine Baker-esque banana (and monkey) prints cool.

What do you think of Prada’s Spring 2011 campaign? Cheeky or just plain weird?
