Lady Gaga Strikes Again. Another ‘Defaced’ Birkin

Lady Gaga has done it again.

Last  month it was a Birkin “defaced” with Kanji (Japanese script) and this week it’s a black DIY studded Birkin.

I really don’t mind the personalization/re-design of the Birkin. While the Birkin is iconic and has a very timeless, structured look the bag could use a little jazzing up every now and then like the treatment Louis Vuitton bags, with their equally iconic print, got from people like Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami (the Shadow Birkin doesn’t count). But couldn’t Gaga have done a better job both times? It doesn’t have to look like it was done by a 12-year-old with too much time on her hands.
